Darlington County Water & Sewer Authority is a Special Purpose District that was created in 1971 to provide water service to rural residents in Darlington County. Our service area includes unincorporated areas of Darlington County and small areas in Florence County and Lee County.
Darlington County Water & Sewer Authority prides itself in providing high quality water at one of the most affordable prices in the state. The Authority has continually won awards for the high quality of your drinking water. In 2004, 2011, & 2013 The Authority was voted to have the best tasting drinking water in the state by South Carolina Rural Water Association. We are proud to serve you quality water and strive to improve each year.
We currently serve approximately 18,500 water customers and 650 sewer customers.
